If you make sure to use
organic / healthy dark chocolate chips with minimal
added sugar, and substitute dates for the honey (
adding the dates to be pulsed before the
almonds on their own, otherwise they might not get smooth enough), then you could consider this recipe to be ENTIRELY healthy and sin - free.
We take

add a gentle roast to allow their natural flavor to shine through.
I made this recipe last night and went with
organic WW flour since that's what I had on hand, I also used unsweetened vanilla

organic raw local honey instead of Agave... did have the pumpkin or hemp seeds so i opted for sunflower.
A couple of things though, I used
almond flour / meal (1 1/3 cup as recommended) and instead of honey or maple syrup, I used
organic brown rice syrup, used the same amount as listed for maple syrup, AND I
added a handful of unsweetened
organic coconut flakes for
added texture and flavor... turned out PERFECT!!
Since I didn't have all of the ingredients I made a couple of changes — I used
almond butter (Artisana raw
organic) instead of
almond flour (same quantity), i used a full teaspoon of cinnamon and baking powder, I
added 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts.
2 bananas well mashed 2 cups of
organic old fashioned oats 1 heaping tbsp of raw
almond butter 1 tbsp of cinnamon 1 light drizzle of raw agave (or stevia) 2 tablespoons of raw chia seeds finely ground
Add a few raisins, shredded coconut or chopped apple if liked.
In autumn / winter, this is my fave cozy bowl - of - goodness mix; 2 tbs
