Easy way to remedy some of that is by belting the tunic and
adding thick leggings or tights underneath.

You'll want to measure around baby's waist above the diaper, around the
thickest part of baby's thigh, the inseam from the bottom of the diaper to baby's ankle, and the rise from the back of the diaper up through baby's
legs to the top of the front of the diaper and then
add one inch.

Plus it's wide enough it can act as a blanket... the important things right Because the vest is so
thick, I'd wear this with either skinny jeans or
leggings and
add some boots for height so you don't look swallowed up.

However, it is winter, so if you don't live in SoCal, and need to warm this look up,
add thick tights (or
leggings) and boots (tall, short, mocs, whatever).

thick, chunky heels because it will just make your
leg look skinnier and take away from the shape.
Add a
thick burgundy scarf to wrap aroung your neck and match with a pair of burgundy
leg warmers.
Add thick or athletic thighs and a plump derrière to the mix, and you're likely to find yourself stuck between sizes in denim limbo — too small and they won't fit over your
legs, too big and you're left with a gap at the waist.
