I decided to make our glass cabinets more interesting by painting the back wall SW Urbane Bronze and then
adding white pitchers and dishes to make them pop against the dark background.

I
added a rustic feel with a wine barrel tray (from Balsalm Hill), a galvanized lantern (from Target) and a classic
white pitcher (from Home Goods) filled with lavender.
I scattered my
white cake plate, two
pitchers, and a couple of bowls among the shelves, then I
added warmth with natural tones and textures.
But since the ironstone
pitcher on the right has a larger surface of
white than anything on the other side, I
added white books to keep it «weighing» the same on the left side.
I do plan on
adding more
white pitchers but the clear glass jars I'm not too excited about.
