We argue that YEPs can be used as an
adjunct to a trauma - specific
psychological intervention or may be a primary intervention for youth who do not have access to trauma - specific
treatment or in situations where youth or caregivers avoid formal
psychological treatment due to stigma and / or cultural beliefs.
