We are not using our initiative to market and promote
adoptable animals
in the media — the spca and humane society do not properly network with other animal rescue groups — The by - laws should be changed to more than 3
dogs or cats so that
people want to care for more animals are able to do so — If the animals are well taken care of and arent a nuisance than badly needed homes from animal lovers should not be considered a crime — Imagine compassion and caring are the crime and yet you are weighing the pros and cons of murdering the animals and that is OK — Does anyone reading this see the insanity!!?? If the insanity wasnt so tragic it would be a joke!!
That's right — especially now when
people often turn to social media to help them
in their search for a new furry family member — quality pictures of
adoptable dogs can make a huge difference.
Nearly 4,000
people braved the weekend's wintry weather and headed to this year's super adoption at the Metropolitan Pavilion
in Chelsea, where they could grab a cup of coffee from Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co., stroll the space (all decked out for the holidays) and meet the
adoptable cats and
dogs (some also decked out
in holiday - themed sweaters and reindeer antlers).
Adoptable greyhounds tend to be
dogs who are retired from racing or breeding, and once they become accustomed to life indoors and to having kind
people to care for them, their main purpose
in life seems to be to find a soft spot, such as your couch, to curl up on and rest.
It was created
in February 2009 by a group of
people in the Atlanta area who wanted to do more to save the many
adoptable dogs and cats who found themselves on death row
in Georgia animal control facilities.

people are surprised to learn that nationwide, more than 2.7 million healthy,

in shelters annually.
Though weather problems have reduced its numbers this year, the HSSTT's «Pets with Wings» program has flown hundreds of
adoptable dogs to the U.S. Various fostering approaches have been tried as ways to relieve shelter crowding, and Vasconcellos ticks off the numerous ways the shelter is publicized to residents and tourists alike:

The group's mission is to protect homeless, abandoned and mistreated Great Danes and other
dog breeds within our volunteer care organization; to work with area animal shelters and humane societies
in rescue efforts to help place
adoptable animals into safe, loving, forever homes; and to educate
people about spay / neuter and the need for sterilization of all pets, proper health care of a pet, nutritional requirements, socialization and training.
Throughout the two - hour family - friendly special, celebrity guests will introduce the audience to
adoptable rescue
dogs and honor the
people who dedicate their lives to caring for animals
in need.
People's tendency to seek out breeders when they decide to get a
dog makes the plight of
adoptable dogs waiting
in shelters much more urgent.
Another part I love is that these wonderful, dedicated
people also stay
in touch with us and let us know how our Freshpet
