lives coming together through
adoption, we tried to capture each idea in a thoughtful item: blankets to give children comfort on their travels home, bracelets celebrating
adoption and forever families, journals to chronicle
adoption journeys, ornaments celebrating country of origin, and gift bags and party accessories to make a shower
adoption - specific.
It's written in the same style and format as the first one, telling of our
journey with open
adoption in a way that the reader can
live through our experiences along with us (through my eyes as an adoptive father).

For the homeless cats and kittens we take in, the
Adoption Center is the first stop on their
journey to a new
life.

My blog has been written in spurts, and I started it to be a homemaking blog, however, it's really been a faith -
journey blog filled with posts about the orphan we adopted in our hearts but whose
adoption fell apart, and about the time we spent in Ukraine with him and about the family of 8 refugees we met at his orphanage and who now
live 3 houses from me in our small hometown in Maine.
Those words apply to so many things in
life, and especially to your
journey to
adoption.
It ended up being a blessing in my
life reading about your
journey, as my best friend is going through her own
adoption journey now.
I think all of the people who have come to like and admire you and Kevin for your
adoption journey will be filled with joy when Sweet Pea comes home to Alabama to
live with his new family!
but like I'm sure our social worker Beth will prove to be throughout our

Our daughter and son - in law who
live in Atlanta will be traveling to the Congo to get their 4 year old daughter... they leave in less than 2 weeks after enduring a 3 plus year
adoption journey!

live in Alberta, Canada and chose to pursue our
adoption journey with both our provincial public system the first year and added a private agency the second year.
