Adoption age is a balancing act between protecting puppy from fear experiences during fear imprinting phase, and making sure it gets heaps of positive exposure to a wide range of people, places and
things before 12 to 14
weeks of age to ensure successful socialization.
Remember, «all good
things are worth waiting for,» and in ideal circumstances, kittens are not ready for
adoption until they are at least ten or twelve
weeks old.

We submitted our application through Lifeline for a Haiti
adoption last
week, but it sounds like
things are changing really fast there now, and Three Angels has a waiting list, so we're praying about whether to proceed in Haiti or whether this is a closed door there, and our kiddo is somewhere else.
