* If you are battling a chronic disease or have stage III
adrenal fatigue then I would recommend not doing any intense
exercise and instead focus on stretching and breathing
exercises such as
yoga and tai chi and low impact movement such as light walking or elliptical
exercises.
Stress reduction tools including moderate
exercise and learned relaxation techniques such meditation,
yoga, tai chi, or Pilates are good ways to naturally rest and restore your
adrenals.
Taking part in low impact and easily controlled activities such as walking, qigong,
yoga, and tai chi can help those with
adrenal fatigue move towards more demanding
exercises.
But you combine a lot of that stuff with you know, basic movement protocols and generally, if you're not into deep state of
adrenal fatigue, you can kinda wean yourself back into doing basic workouts within 4 - 8 weeks and when I say basic workouts, what I'll usually start with is I'll take someone from just doing like the
yoga, mobility, easy nature walk, stuff like that, and I will take for example, one of those easy nature walks and I'll start having folks stop and do some rock lifts and log lifts, maybe some pushups, some kinda fitness exploring type of work that still doesn't send your body to that stressful structured running from a lion
exercise message but allows you to begin to stretch your muscles and joints and heart rate and cardiovascular system a little bit.
