The company collaborated with Taisen Iguchi, a professor of environmental endocrinology at the National Institute for Basic Biology in Okazaki, Japan, and Masato Kinoshita, assistant professor of applied biosciences at Kyoto University, who had created
a adult medaka laboratory test.
Together with previous findings, a total of seven out of eight bilaterian species examined (human, mouse, cattle, chicken, fish
medaka, sea urchin and fruit fly) representing three different phyla express Boule in the
adult testis [35], [53], [60].
