The most important
advice I can give
about the four - month
sleep regression is to stay consistent with whatever
sleep approach you plan to take.
For the noble few who have dared stick with me through this post which is quite clearly not much more than free therapy for me - this is my chief concern
about Babywise: It's not the idea of scheduling (although I can not get on board with cry - it - out infant
sleep training as part of that schedule), it's not the way orderliness and predictability are lauded and practically guaranteed, and it's not the sketchy breastfeeding
advice / information.
I don't stress out
about getting my baby to
sleep a long time at night, but
about the
advice to never let my baby stay awake for more than an hour and a half.
