So again I can't highly recommend enough
of seeing an International Board and Certified
lactation consultant for this situation as there are many reasons why this maybe occurring which will really help you get the bottom
of, my
advice is only that this IBCLC should be looking for the tongue tie during this feeding time with your baby especially since I can't give an accurate
advice without having seeing you and your baby.
I immediately started pumping on the
advice of a wonderful
lactation consultant, and while she was drinking from bottles by the time she was 5 days old it was all from me.
