As the dispute concerning a 2009
affordable housing settlement in Westchester County continues, a Congresswoman and the governor have come up with a plan to allot federal money to local communities.
But on that question, Astorino and Cuomo blasted each other for their stances on a 2009

Astorino has long claimed that the county is
in full compliance with the terms of the
affordable housing settlement, which was agreed upon back
in 2009.

settlement states that the county must fund marketing, public education, and other outreach efforts to promote fair and
affordable housing.

Westchester County executive Rob Astorino says Westchester is
in the final stages of achieving all of the requirements set forth by the
affordable housing settlement from 2009.
Federal Judge Denise Cote, who has been presiding over the
