After seeing these natural wonders, the elaborate special effects of such
films as The Hulk and The Matrix Reloaded will seem like cheap parlor tricks.

film falls between the stools of docufiction and costume drama, with costume drama winning out; and the second subject of the

But a serious
film such
as Fences is a privilege to
see, not just
as a dramatic entertainment but because it reverberates long
after it ends.
As for «Short Circuit, «the
film quickly disappoints
after a cute opening sequence in which we
see the army present a new breed of mechanical soldier able to dish out laser shots and withstand any firepower.
After The Asset bites off two of his fingers, he gets them reattached, but we
see them turn black and more infected
as the
film progresses.
It's a distinct change of pace
after the first section of the
film, which is, I think, why I didn't like it
as much the first time I
saw it, but in fact this part of the story is well done and quite compelling.
The humor did make me chuckle a few times but nothing serious but then again I
saw it more
as a drama
