, I've done some informal research, and most Laundromats have no official policy
against diaper laundry.
Not exact matches
about 1/2 -3 / 4 of
laundry is ideal... you want the
diapers to rub
against each other to get clean and not just flop around in your machine and create a bubble cushion at the bottom of the washer that the
diapers will just float off of and not penetrate... If the load of
laundry is too small the
diapers will be lifted by the drum and dropped to the bottom, flop flop..
No you do not want to use the highest water level available, if you do that
diapers will just float around in the washer and will not agitate, scrub
against eachother to get clean, you will want the water level to coincide with the size of dirty
laundry you are doing...
The fold - over
laundry tabs found on the Thirsties Duo Wraps with Aplix closures protect any other
diapers or covers in the wash, as well as guard
against the hook and loop closures gathering up lint.
