I rememeber a
neighbour that was always gossiping and putting
people against each other.
People always ask why did he not change the heart of man, but why did he not change my heart when I did something
against my
neighbour, or why did he let someone get cancer or why does he allow abortion.
It's hard to understand a culture that encourages violence
against women, violence
against their
neighbours, violence and hatred
against other nations, suicide bombings, stoning
people to death, so called «honor killings», chemical and biological weapons testing on prisoners, and a long list of other «not so nice» practices.
I have always found it very ironic that
people are so willing to break the Eighth Commandment forbidding bearing false witness
against neighbour, to maintain «Biblical morality».
The good
people of Newcastle, Gateshead's
neighbour, voted
against introducing a city mayor in 2012.
