I took
the agave out of the recipe to use maple syrup instead so don't worry about it here!

I noticed she uses honey in some
of her
recipes but I would swap that
out for
agave or my new favourite Bee Free Honee.
I can not, however, project how the
recipe will turn
out with honey instead
of agave, egg substitute instead
of eggs, chunky peanut butter instead
of smooth, etc..
In terms
of sweetener, that might be okay, but
agave also provides some
of the moisture and binding in this
recipe, so you want to be careful substituting a dry for a wet or your bread might come
out dry or crumbly.
Anyway, wanted to tell you that I've started subbing
out the grapeseed oil for coconut oil in these and have long been using homemade coconut palm sugar syrup in place
of agave in ALL
of your
recipes, including your peanut sauce and other similar ones.
I followed the
recipe pretty closely, though I didn't have
agave nectar (and had just run
out of honey) so I used 100 % pure maple syrup instead.
I also make your zucchini bread
recipe only I use 1/2 coconut palm sugar syrup which I make myself and 1/2 sorghum syrup to replace the
agave and them I make muffins
out of it.
I made these with 1/4 cup
agave then 1 1/2 cups (about) brown rice syrup (because i was
out of agave) and crunchy peanut butter (again, it was what i had), then later made them with only
agave, per the
recipe the next time (though again with PB).
I used
agave instead
of honey and added nutmeg to the crust, but otherwise followed the
recipe and it really came
out great!

out of agave nectar, and I found that I actually like it better this way)-- melted coconut oil instead
of grapeseed oil — fewer nuts / seeds / coconut flakes than the
