agave syrup I used honey, and instead of raw cacao I used cacao nibs and ground then up, I used Parnoosh dates as opposed to Medjool because those are what we have available and I don't know
if that would make a difference.

mine were sticky to roll too, until I clued in that

I would also suggest substituting maple
syrup if you do not like using
agave.

The recipe calls for milk of your choice, such as almond or soy, frozen strawberries, banana, ice cubes, protein powder,

syrup if you're not a fan of
agave), and toppings, such as berries, banana, granola and coconut flakes.
While maple
syrup and
agave nectar are the most popular replacements for honey,
if you want to replicate the thick, viscous, sticky texture of honey, coconut nectar is your best and healthiest option.
My only gripe with this recipe is the amount of «sugar
syrup» which I personally would replace with about half the amount of
