In my opinion, this is exactly what was happening when I was receiving an influx
of aggressive puppies to help, 25 years ago.
If you identify the food aggression in puppies, then start the
food aggressive puppy training immediately.
AGGRESSIVE PUPPY BEHAVIOR Behaviors that may indicate a problem include prolonged, deep - tone growling; a fixed gaze; a stiff posture; and aggression that is situational or stimulus - dependent (not spontaneous).
Aggressive puppies need immediate evaluation, and if the trainer / behaviorist thinks the dog is normal, then immediately put into lessons.
Truly aggressive puppies display behaviors such as biting, snapping, and growling in situations they should not - like normal petting and handling from people.
If it is an instinctive behavior, then the best approach is to start with
food aggressive puppy training as soon as possible.
