cats over the
age of six months that reside in Santa Cruz County must be spayed or neutered.
King County pet licenses are
required for all dogs and
cats 8 weeks of
age or older in all unincorporated King County and the following cities: Auburn (in city limits), Beaux Arts, Bellevue, Black Diamond, Carnation, Clyde Hill, Covington, Duvall, Enumclaw, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kent, Kirkland, Lake Forest Park, Maple Valley, Mercer Island (dog licenses only), Newcastle, North Bend, Redmond, Sammamish, SeaTac, Shoreline, Snoqualmie, Tukwila, Woodinville and Yarrow Point.
City licenses are
required for all
cats and dogs over three months of
age.

cat may
require more medical checkups and medication as she
ages.
The Dog Law also contains a section on rabies vaccination which
requires all dogs over 3 months of
age to be vaccinated and all
cats to be vaccinated if they spend any part of a 24 hour day inside a dwelling.
In Texas, state law
requires that dogs and
