Some might claim this is agnosticism but it is not as
an agnostic believes there may or may not be God's but we have no way of verifying it so they see no reason to commit.
An Agnostic believes there is something / someone but, does not accept organized religions as having any more «truth» than anyone else.
What's so amazing is that the same church that is responsible for his spiritual development would turn its back on him when the pastor decided to explore further into

an agnostic I believe you to be incorrect and misusing the term «Agnostic».
Agnostics believe the existence of God can not be proven, but Atheism is a belief that centers itself upon the non-existence of a deity — and calls into question the multiple guides of morality, and spirituality that exist to support that belief.
However, as
an agnostic I believe atheists are still just as bigoted as theists simply because they refuse to still take up the idea they might be wrong.

When believers start from the premise that someone who simply doesn't

Atheist reject the idea of a god and
believe their view to be true or they would be
agnostic unless they choose no stance at all of a god that of which would require unknowing of what the term «god» means so it would fall under a belief and since they can't prove that a god doesn't exist then by definition it requires faith for their view, meaning it would effect their view of the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe if a god was proven to be true.
