Discussion of «pulsed stratospheric spraying» creating less noisy
data for analysis of effects gave me a simple idea — If the input to the models assume that stratospheric spraying has been ongoing for decades,
then plug into these models the temperature
data accrued in the three days after 9/11 when, as reported at the time, the mean temperature over the US landmass «inexplicably» rose by 2 degrees C. in only three days while all
aircraft were grounded,
then the actual effect of stratospheric manipulations over US will emerge.
Since
then, satellite reading of temperatures and the occlusion of numerous infrared bands, ground based,
aircraft and balloon measurements of same, and an ever - increasing
data base of the optical properties of CO2 (and other gases, like water vapour), have helped refine radiation calculations towards determining the atmospheric heat budget.
