airline websites fail to
show award space from all of their partners.
The biggest advantage to searching the ANA
website is that it usually
shows all of the alliance partners (with some exception mentioned below), which is very handy for
airlines like Singapore Airlines which don't usually show up on United or A
airlines like Singapore

show you the overnight options like AA.com does.
I recommend you first search for the availability you need from the Delta, Air France, or Alaska
Airlines websites because those searches
show a calendar - view.
When both the Asia Miles
website and British Airways sites
show the same availability, it's a pretty safe bet that American
Airlines will be able to see those open award seats as well.
Remember that not all these
airlines are
shown on the United
website, so you might have to call if you have a preference.
Be aware that Etihad flights do not
show up on partner
airline websites so going there will not help.
American
Airlines hasn't made any changes to its redemption options aside from some modifications made in March, and said it still plans to
show the award redemption requirements on its
