As I talk to expectant mothers and sexually frustrated couples, and as I wake up each morning worrying
about book sales and reviews, one theme seems to be recurring: Waiting sucks.
We're all
about the book sales, of course, but one of our group pointed out that while sales are lovely, we might get better results if we focused on building our mailing lists, rather than direct sales, because:

I don't see
book sales really taking off unless I start pitching the
book hard on TV or radio or speaking at conferences or writing a lot of guest posts
about the subject.
Also, much has been written over the past 2 - 3 years
about the importance of buyer personas, but these articles,
books, and blog posts have stressed them as profiles or lead - generation tools as opposed to a best practice that informs on business,
sales, and marketing strategies that help best identify and reach buyers.
People sometimes mention to me that I must be bitter
about Bancinsurance, because I thought it was worth at least 1 times
book (I thought it was worth more, but I felt reasonable people could disagree
about how much more) and yet the board approved a
sale of the minority shareholders to the majority shareholder at something like 0.9 times
book.
This isn't
about that though, this is more a lesson in how both religion and atheism together can be equally guilty of scamming people out of donations and
