In its complaint, the municipality
alleged that between 2007 and 2012 it was shipped 5,331,970 doses of hydrocodone and
oxycodone.
Ten of those involved in the
alleged trafficking, including a local pharmacist, Srinath Thoompally, are charged in an indictment with «unlawfully distributing large quantities of prescription pain medications, including
oxycodone, hydromorphone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, and fentanyl.»
