skin biopsy taken
for histopathology as a board certified pathologist would be able to see the structure of the
skin and to see any cells which may indicate inflammation etc... Also,
allergy testing blood
test may also be helpful too.
But
skin and blood
tests aren't all that reliable
for food
allergies.
Maybe your veterinarian ran the appropriate diagnostic
tests for skin problems: a
skin scrape cytology,
skin tape cytology, fungal culture, trichogram and maybe an endocrine and thyroid function blood panel and serum
allergy tests.
