Going back to why I largly agree with you though and that is because I agree that a defense needs to be consistant,
flair comes spontagiuosly and that is ok for a strike force that is fluid but at the back we need stability to
allow the attacking
players more freedom.
At that point, the
flair players are lost and don't want to know anymore as they're not being
allowed to do what they want.
It is an interesting problem to have, plenty of
flair but we lack steal, the man that does the dirty work and
allows the ball
players to pull the strings.
The totem mechanic adds some
flair to this,
allowing all
players to pick each other up, giving the game some semblance of 3D gameplay.
It's an endlessly stylish game but, more importantly, one that
allows its
players to express their own ingenuity and
flair.
