Most any Paleo bread will work in this, you just have to make sure that it's using
almond flour or
coconut flour instead of all - purpose
flour, as this will take care of any grain concerns

flour, so used all

and used plain Greek yogurt

So this recipe
instead mimics oatmeal by using
almond flour and coconut flour and a grated apple.

Just realized my mistake... I used

almond flour... I honestly couldn't smell the difference
and it looks alike.
I make another variation of these where I skip on the
flour and add
almond butter
and coconut milk
instead.
And if you want to make this with
almond flour instead, I'd start with removing the milk, as
almond flour needs less liquid than
coconut flour.

and I have gone off added sugar (I used raw honey
instead of sugar in this)

I made these this morning
and i used
almond flour instead of the
coconut flour and they turned out awesome
and so delicious!!
Adaptations / substitutions to the recipe: 3 cups of
almond flour instead of 2.5 Raw
coconut nectar
instead of agave Chocolate chunks
and date crumbles
instead of pecan pieces.
I used only 2 eggs (which was more than enough for me... you can taste the prevalence of eggs still but not bad at all),
almond meal for
coconut flour, a heaping dash (es) of pumpkin spice
instead of nutmeg / cinnamon / etc,
and the already suggested 6 tablespoons of milk.
I used unblanched
almond flour from Trader Joe's,
coconut oil
instead of grapeseed oil, added 1/2 tsp xantham gum so they'd stick together,
and a bit of amaranth
flour to thicken it up.
Could I use all
coconut flour instead of
almond and coconut.
This is not ideal for people who want to lose weight or prevent / control diabetes, so I used
coconut flour and almond flour instead, both of which have a lower GI.
