I haven't tried specifically for this recipe, but usually it works fine to substitute the almond flour with 1/3 of the quantity in coconut flour, since the coconut flour absorbs more moisture than almond flour.
I just baked a batch and they turned out amazing:) I didn't have enough almonds on hand so I replaced the almond flour with ground sunflower seeds and it worked beautifully.
I supplemented pecans and maple syrup which worked well but had to add another 4 tbsp almond flour.

A little more oat flour should work just fine, or you could even just try leaving it out altogether and maybe use a little less almond milk.

If you're working with anyone that has a nut allergy then omit the ground almonds and use a little under 1/4 cup additional coconut flour.

Coconut flour will not work as a substitute for almond flour (or other flours, for that matter) because the texture will be way to dry.
There are recipes out there that use a combination of coconut flour and almond flour and I've found those work well too.
Ground almonds is one of my favourite gluten free flours to bake with — it's so versatile and has the a subtle nutty taste which I think works well with many different recipes.

Debbie, my recipes use blanched almond flour, unblanched won't work.
I used Bob's Red Mill almond flour which I know you don't usually recommend and subbed 1/8 cup chia seed for the flax because that's what I had on hand and it worked well.
