Granola, made with pecans and
almonds, large flaked coconut, chia seeds, and brown rice syrup to encourage a little clustering.
The Classic Acai Bowl is made with an acai and frozen banana blend, fresh banana
on top, peanut butter,
granola, coconut, cacao and
almond milk.
Seeing all those ingredients piled
on the counter, I knew exactly what kind of
granola I'd be having:

To ensure this
granola is gloriously gluten - free, simply check the label
on your oats to make sure they're GF certified.Because they're so tender and buttery
on their own, I like my pecans straight up, which is why they're not roasted along with the
almonds and instead added along with the chocolate chips.
This pistachio butter is great
on toast, in sandwiches, in cookies,
granola bars, etc. & really brings a new exciting flavor into your normal routine of peanut and
almond butter.
I started with this easy coconut
almond granola and I have my eye
on another one to make when we have depleted our supply.

Of course it can be eaten
on it's own with some
almond milk, but it's also great as a mix in for
granola, and it would make a delicious topping for a frozen sweet treat.

Over the past few weeks I've been experimenting with all sorts of ways to use fresh kefir, you can flavor it with vanilla or
almond extract, add it to your smoothies, use it as a base for your stove top oatmeal or as a creamy top
on your
granola.
I am also obsessed with love grown foods
granola, I adore the coconut
almond kind, so yummy
on top of yogurt or a smoothie
1) Pre-heat oven to 300 deg Fahrenheit (150 deg cel) 2) Line one large baking sheet (0r two medium baking sheets) with parchment paper 3) In a large bowl, combine the oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, raisins,
almonds and other nuts, and mix well 4) In a smaller bowl, whisk together the honey, light brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon until smooth and sugar has dissolved 5) Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well until you get a homogeneous mixture 6) Pour the mixture over the baking sheets and spread evenly with a spatula, then season lightly with sea salt 7) Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the
granola gently (to make sure all sides are cooked) 8) At this point, you may need to switch the baking sheets (if you are using 2) so the
granola cooks evenly 9) Bake for another 15 minutes, then stir again, before cooking for a final 15 minutes or until golden brown 10) Remove
granola from the oven and place
on cooking racks until completely cool and crisp 11) Store
granola in air - tight containers at room temperature.

on toast or

almond milk or green smoothies (too cold!)
Once you've got a handle
on it, this cranberry
almond granola recipe can be adapted as you like to fit your flavor preferences, or whatever ingredients you have
on hand.

almond milk, frozen banana, and
granola), and then mustered up the energy to go
on a walk.
So this recipe is my solution to that problem that I created last year and is still one of my favorites for whipping up when I want a sprinkle of something similar to muesli or
granola to use
on top of smoothies or to put in a bowl with a little
almond or soy milk as a quick snack.
I used one of my favorite recipes for Gluten Free
Granola (maple
almond, to be exact), but there's also another favorite, dead simple recipe of mine
on page 72 of my First Cookbook.
* My mind set when I shop is to always have smoothie supplies
on hand - frozen and fresh fruit, rawnola,

almond milk smoothie topped with
granola and sliced bananas!
I started the year eating my Maple and Cinnamon Buckwheat
Granola on a regular basis during the week, interspersed with avocado and / or
almond butter
on gluten free or paleo seed toast.
This
granola is great
on its own, in a bowl of yogurt, served with
almond milk, and even sprinkled over ice cream!
His morning routine was always the same: shower, suit up, and sit down to a quick breakfast

almond milk which he'd eat while scrolling through the news
on his phone.

granola, peanut butter, raisins, cinnamon, banana) and vegetarian sausage [they told me to pack
on the protein to help with my milk supply] and coffee and soy milk (I brought my own
almond milk as well)
Fresh blueberries go off so quickly - these are ideal to always have
on hand in the freezer... I either add straight from the freezer to porridge and
almond milk and microwave them or leave them overnight in the fridge to thaw and throw them onto
granola and yoghurt in the morning - I always have a bag of these in the freezer.
I went to town
on my bowl with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and banana, as well as chopped
almonds, toasted coconut, a sprinkling of my favorite
granola, and extra chia seeds.

I like to add soaked cashews to my smoothies to make them creamy (like in this smoothie), walnuts are great
on top of porridge, and I think
almonds are best when roasted in the oven for
granola.
My favorite ways to eat this
granola are by itself with 1 / 2C
almond / soy milk, in a greek yogurt parfait, or
on top of my morning oats
Here are some nutritious foods that might sound good after the game: turkey and avocado sandwich, carrots and hummus, peanut butter
on graham crackers, yogurt with
granola and fruit, cheese and crackers, egg salad and pita chips, pasta salad with veggies and chicken, tortilla with
almond butter and banana.
Our most common uses are a tablespoon added to
almond pancake batter,
on apples baked for dessert or in homemade
granola bars.
Usually I just toss them in my
granola, or throw them
on a smoothie bowl, add them into Dark Chocolate Energy Balls or use them to give my Vegan
Almond Butter Cups a nice little crunch.

When I got the sugar cravings, I would have a bowl of high fiber cereal, or a

on it.
Of course, they're delicious
on smoothie bowls and
granola, but I also love adding them into my
almond butter truffles for a little extra crunch!
For a nutritious, delicious snack, spread
almond butter
on apple slices and top with
granola and dried Montmorency tart cherries.
