Is there alternatives to
almond butter, or a way to leave out
nuts in recipes?

My favourite

almond butter and I include so many other
nuts into my recipes so don't really feel the need for peanuts as well as they aren't very high

almond crops are currently responsible for making the current extreme draught conditions even worse because they are such a water - intensive crop
in an area that does not naturally have sufficient water supply, so please consider using other
nuts and seeds instead, as CA is currently the only major source of
almonds in the world (if you're able to find a small, local / non-CA supplier, wonderful!).
There's also an amazing amount of plant protein
in here too from the
almonds,
nut butter and pecans so each bite will energise you, leaving you feeling awesome instead of lethargic, while the dates dose you up on iron and fibre and the coconut oil gives you anti-inflamatory goodness!
I understand if it doesn't work for you though
in my recipes I often use it for the specific sweetness or stickiness, so sometimes
nut butters (
almond, cashew or tahini) can work as a substitute or other oils (olive) or other sticky beauties (dates, figs etc).
I love mine with
almond butter, fresh berries and a squeeze of honey but it's also delicious with toasted
nuts, banana slices and just about anything else you've got
in your kitchen.
I normally just put 250g each of
Almonds, Brazil
nuts + Cashews
in my Thermomix + blitz for a couple of minutes to make ABC spread.
Do you think I can crush some
nuts like
almonds instead of sunflower seeds as I am terribly allergic to sunflower seeds sadly and I see it so much used

I used my favourite gluten - free flours,
almond and oat, ground from whole
nuts and grains
in my Froothie blender, and coconut oil and coconut sugar for the least - processed options.
I split the
nut / oat mix
in half and made one batch with a scoop of
almond butter and a bit of coconut oil and they are so good!
Make
