Jeremy i agree with what you have written many of the traditions in the church have come from pagan beliefs.I thought some of the comments were judgemental of others especially towards those who are pagan.There response was respectful we can learn alot about having a good attitude towards others and responding to others kindly.I think using scripture in a legalistic way is no different than what the pharisees did to Jesus in his day and he disarmed them by rebuking them saying you without sin cast the first stone.regards brentnz

my point of asking if anyone has actually read a Bible is this, there seems to be alot of people quoting Gods word that do not really know what His message is for all of us.

God says you will know a man by his works, so if your preacher sounds alot like hitler you may want to change church's, that is if you care about your soul!

Finally found some people that going through the same thing as me Im 16 when i got saved i wanted to know alot about the Bible and God then there was one day in my bedroom where i was watching someone talking about blasphemy of the holy spirit and i kindda got curious and said something that i did nt mean and after that i felt a barrage of thoughts saying blasphemous things about god i wanted it to stop but it wouldnt it would allways happen randomly and finally figured that cussing god wasnt the unforgivable sin i finnaly calmed down and accepted that God still loves me but the thoughts still wont stop

Neville you are quite right it is a process of growing i do nt believe Jeremy is saying we should sit there like a lump of clay and do nothing.But rather than doing something thinking that that will add to the work of Christ is pointless.We are expected to walk by faith but alot of what is expected from the church or others are dead works and are done because the church expects us to do them.The way around this is to say no just do what the Lord wants you to and please him put him first.That way you are still walking by faith and growing in Christ rather than wasting time just trying to keep something going that needs to die so that Christ can be elevated to the highest position.brentnz

As far as salvation goes with obtaining it and losing it, theirs alot more studying to do on this topic for me, as far as I know, I do nt know at this time, but I do know that my salvation lies in God's hands and not the hands of men, same goes for anyone condemning anyone else to hell, they do nt trully know because they are not God, but the Bible does tell us that we will know who does the will of God by the fruit they bear, and that a good tree can not produce bad fruit, and vise versa, but ultimatly that persons salvation is in Gods hands, and only God knows the future and what will be.

I to can only eat things that is organic so I redo alot of the recipes so I can eat alot of stuff I «am allgic to pesticides, hornmores, n antibotics, dairy, eggs, whey, so I watch n read everything, I do not have a galdbladder n was told I could eat everything after that well I could not n get sick after that it will come out of 1 of the ends is all i need to say, but if I eat this stuff I «am ok, for everybody that may have the same problem as me just try drinking the organic milks w / o hornmores, pesticdes, n antibotics in it n see if that works for you same with the eggs thats what I do open the lid n see what it says, if it don't say that well its not for you (eggland) is one of the names I use horizan, silk, r 2 of the milk blands I use, they also have sorbet icecream but watch them some do have milk in them n if it doesn't say organic milk your not getting that your getting real milk, then go on internet n read, read, read all your labels n read whats best for you cause everybody is not the same, I hope that helps n feel free to send me a message n let me know if anybody wants: - P
