Black Mass says nothing new about its genre, nothing we didn't
already know about its subject (if, that is, you assume most of what it has to say is authentic), and lacks the cultural yen to leave a lasting impression outside of Boston's rough embrace.
Based on John A's post (as well as what
I already know about the subject) I'm gonna have to lean towards my lyin eyes on this one.
