the obvious fact is that the club began
to stagnate in football terms a decade ago after the CL semi against man utd and has been in outright retreat over the last 3 years... some fans were calling for wenger

to fa cup glory and hoping that he would somehow self correct his weak and erratic management style but most now realise that is not possible and that the club will deteriorate further under his management so
also want him gone, that has left a hard core of wenger loyalists who are either fixated with the past (selecting episodic good and bad times

can u ever write an article without mocking arsene or wishing his reign
to come
to an end it is ok sometimes but every time come on man give it a break on
to our defence there are only 2
games in this season where team's overall defensive performance can be taken
to doubt first was pool because of both first team defenders out second is olympiakos where u can point
to team not defending so well on corner that
also was actually an individual mistake by ospina which
changed the
game so our defence is doing good job give credit where it is due of course it would be interesting
to see whether we can contain the most inform team in Europe.
you wont see a cazorla or a xavi losing possession, not only that but they drive the team forward.but unfortunately u hav players like ramsey, who do nt drive the attack like the above two,
also he loses possessions sometimes by attempting fancy moves.its sad ramsey gives more importance
to style over substance.unfortunately, i feel players like ramsey hav contributed
to arsenal's inability... imagine a team like barcelona playing with him, constantly losing posession leading
to conceding goals and so on.difference is barca's manager wud take them out, while under wenger u r rewarded with the nxt
game!!!! i do nt deny he was top notch a season or two back, but now hes a liability imo and need
to change his mentality.even that opportunity he got against tottenham where thought longer before taking a shot thus giving defender time
to get
to him and take off the ball.i bet if it was cazorla, arsenal wud hav scored...
The likes of koscielny, coquelin, monreal and ospina have

games played still excuses do nt win but that monaco loss left me shaking my head in cl we get theough the group but cant muster the strength needed for knockout and we should be performing better were under performing for the talent xhaka has frustrated me hes got the talent and plays well but cant hold focus in
games he drops off and loses his marks our academy is doing well but yes it is tougher now
to break in
to the first team iwobi has done well but one or two seasons away from being there if he does turn himself elite ever has
to score or he will just be another ox but i think its been a wake up call
to the club we finally have
to act theres a wave of ideas
to not only get us back
to winning ways but become title contenders and i think give him the extension one year its a world cup year and that will
also allow our players esp strikers who been very poor this year realized its tough
to play in englad and next year will have a better idea what it really takes
to win here shore up some spots and depth and were in contention fail and the
changes will happen but let him have one more year the fact were willing
to spend shows me an upturn from the decline

He is the worst when it comes
to transfers, He talks about quality and availability and need
to our squad... let me moved some names who have moved... Pedro who can play as a false 9, Schneiderlin a DM and a better distributor than Coq although I love Coq but we need depth and we are away from 1 injury from the defensive crisis now, Vidal who can attack and defend and can
change the tempo of the
game when we need
to (do we have anyone like that) would have been a great upgrade on Wilshere and Ramsey, Shaqiri, Sterling who can play any role amongst the forwards and as a CAM
also, Angel Di Maria we all know him, Kondogbia as one of the best DMs on the pitch, and many more.
And although we have yet

game,

game hasn't
changed * that * much in the last 10 years — the teams who can score against the most stubborn defences and defend well themselves tend
to do rather well Giroud gets through an awful lot of ugly work in a match, even when he doesn't score and is
also an asset when defending set pieces.
I agree with those odds simply because i believe the some team that were stronger than Arsenal last season have done some really good business
to further strengthen there squads, Bernardo Silva & Kyle Walker for Man City with what they already have plus what pep will add plus its gonna be his second season so he will be a bit more familiar with the EPL and this may make them really tough
to beat, Tiemoue Bakayoko & Antonio Rudiger Chealsea plus a top striker and Chelsea will sill be one of the teams
to beat, Tottenham are gonna be solid, they've kept the team together and Victor Lindelof & Romelu Lukaku for Man - u and Mourinho is not done yet if the rumors are true and there
also the Mourinho second season thing, as much as i'd like
to be hopeful for next season, i really do nt think Lacazette and Kolasinac are enough
to make us challenge for the league plus having Europa league will give the team less time
to recover for the weekend
games, the formation
change is the only thing i see can make the difference.
It
also frees up more
game time for promising youngsters who have time on there side
to still make it and
change the narrative (gibbs, ox, iwobi and ramsey) looking for more responsability and consistent minutes 4 - Probably involve both Sanchez and Özil in recruiting pitch and ask for input of who they like (doesn't mean you go with what they say bit just showing a different approach and the commitment
to do better.
