From the demo they made it all pretty and cinematic (like you say) but
they also dumbed the game the hell down.

Ppl have been critising
dumb things about his past few
games like his crosses, which he has never been good at, and how he does nt dribble past players, something he
also never did.
I just liked the idea to bring
game and liveaction scenes together but the story is
also complete
dumb and manytimes just wtf.
The
game is difficult and not
dumbed down for the lowest common denominator like so many
games these days, and
also very fun and addictive.
Also, scaling graphics for any system is not «
dumbing down» a
game.

She
also did an excellent job disappointing passerby who thought she was just a
dumb booth babe they could flirt with, and whose favorite
game would be «pong».
The three characters are able to carry an individual object (modern
gamers are too
dumb to use inventory systems, apparently), and they are
also able to pull levers, climb ladders, pull on ropes and whatnot.
The time slow
also gives you a slight bit more time to react to mix - ups, but not enough to where it
dumbs the
game down.
It has the
dumb but entertaining chaos you'll find in
games like Doom, character designs pulled straight from the typical depictions of western soldiers in Japanese
games, style points reminiscent of, well, Devil May Cry, and that sweet awful (but
also endearing at times) voice acting you'd find in localized
games from that era.
It
also manages to include several characters from M - rated
games without
dumbing down their histories; though no blood is spilt beyond characters bursting into clouds of PS button symbols, characters like Radec from KillZone and BioShock's Big Daddy get to fight as brutally as ever.
