I have
also made this in an 8 ″ round cake
pan (see photos below), which I
line with parchment paper for easy removal and clean - up.
Line a 8 x 8 baking
pan with parchment paper and grease with the remaining coconut oil (this step is optional, but it makes cleaning the
pan so much easier and
also you get all caramel staying on the bars, and not on the
pan)
Prep your
pans: preheat the oven to 350 F and
line a cake
pan with parchment paper - we used a 9 x 13
pan, but you can
also use a 8 - inch square
pan.
The key, I found, is to
line not only the bottoms, but
also the sides of the
pan with parchment paper.
Transfer the mixture to a foil -
