I also use diaper pins sometimes, and I also use them to stuff pocket diapers.
You still can if you want to, of course, but you can

diapers at night and when we go out still saves tons of money just
using cloth while we're home during the day, we go months without having to buy the disposables.
Prefolds are

used as burp cloths or inserts for other
diapers, although they are a bit bulky.
I have
also seen Rediaper.com, where you can sell or trade your
used diapers.
You can
use this instead of bleach and
also do the soak once per month to help keep the
diaper stink at bay.
Fleece wraps can
also be
used at night with your night time
diaper for a great breathable night
diapering system.
These
diapers also require a cover and Snappi or pins but are easier to
use than pre-folds and flats because they are shaped so you will not need to learn how to fold them.
Aside from gently
used cloth
diapers, Sloomb
also has various products that can suit your children's interest.
All of these products can
also be
used in your kitchen for storing baby food or for stashing baby & toddler snacks in the
diaper bag.
His skin
also got noticeably better once we started
using these with our cloth
diapers, so we rarely
use any creams at all.
