Not exact matches
Often I have
food already made in the fridge from dishes I have
photographed for the blog but not
always.
The temptation is
always to plaster my posts with
photographs of local flora and views but have to keep reminding myself this is a
food blog!
I've been wanting to do something like this but feel like I would
always forget to
photograph every
food lol It's so inspiring how you manage everything you do, you deserve a vacation lady!
Why is it that the things I love to do, in my case making good
food,
photographing it and sharing it with friends via this blog,
always seem to take a back seat to all the other things I have going on?
I
always say that meat is the hardest
food subject to
photograph so my learning cap is packed and ready along with a few camera lenses too!
I
always know I'm in big trouble when I start playing around with my
food during the
photographing process and find more of it ends up in my face than in the photos.
It doesn't come naturally for me to share my personal life here on my blog, this has
always been a space to share recipes, post my
photographs, and write about
food.
Aside from writing, cooking,
food styling,
photographing, and prepping for this blog, I
always have a consulting job or two.
I
always say that a good cookbook should take you somewhere, whether it's a new frame of awareness with
food, or the
photographs and voice have the ability to transport you in as much as possible.
Though my own blog is not about
food, I
always find such inspiration in your words and
photographs; thank you.
I have a day job that takes up more than the normal 40 hours per week, and since Rhubarb and Honey has
always focused on
food, finding the time to test, re-test, document, and
photograph the recipes that I share with you was becoming increasing difficult... and heaven knows, I don't half - ass anything so unless it was perfect, I couldn't share it with you.
Your
food and drinks are
always so beautifully

I continued to practice
photographing my
food so I had imagery for my column and would
always post my images to my personal Facebook account, where my friends and family could comment on them and write about recipes.
