We always think of food first at this time of year!
When I hear the word unhealthy,
I always think of food.
I have a long commute to work, whether it's on my way to or from work, I am
always thinking of food.

Growing up in the provinces as I did, I
always thought that
food with paper inside was the special charism
of the Chinese, but I was wrong.
When I used to
think of healthy eating, I
always just
thought of a bowl
of rabbit
food!
I've
always eaten and prepared home cooked
food but
think I need to «up the ante» and am taking my inspiration from some
of your recipes to introduce more fruit, vegetables and fibre into the whole family's diet!
I started writing a blog in November, but it took me quite a long time to really take that step, as I had
always been wondering what other people might
think of me blogging about healthy, mostly plant - based
food, as most people around me don't share this interest and
think quite different than I do.
In answer to your questions I don't believe in counting calories, as I explain in the
food philosophy section as all these
foods are so good for you and so easily digestible that you don't really need to
think about calories if you
always eat this way — you can't for example equate the calories
of an avocado and a chocolate bar!
Once the aubergines have cooked, slice the green end off them and then place them in your
food processor with all the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy — I love the skin
of the aubergine as I
think it makes the texture nicer, so I
always add it but you don't have to.
Natalie is one
of those friends and we
always spend hours talking about recipes, the
food we currently love, our
thoughts, dreams, and problems without the fear
of judgment or misunderstanding.
You know, I
always wonder at the use
of preserved
foods in a dish and
think that the cook might have used fresh if it had been available.
I've been a long time reader and I don't
think I've ever commented before, but I'd just like to say that I've
always enjoyed reading your blog and your writing style and approach to
food has being one
of the many influences to me becoming more serious about
food, photography, and
food writing.
As a vegetarian living in Paris now for a good few years i
thought that i'd warn you that they're really big meat eaters over here and tend to hide meat in things that you kinda wouldn't expect which
always annoys me, saying this there are some great finds to be had, one
of mine and my (French and meat eating) boyfriend's favs is Galerie 88 just behind to the Hotel de Ville - 88, quai de l'Hôtel de Ville, 75004 Paris, the gazpacho and split pea soup (which i want so desperately to recreate but can't seem to...) are both musts, lovely bohemian style and simple great tasting
food.
I
always think that you seem to have such a good and balanced attitude towards
food that I love each and every one

My sisters boyfriend is kind
of a self - taught home gourmet cook, or so I seem to
think, he makes the most incredible
food which is
always totally boosted with taste and power but at the same time feels light in the stomach.

of football and have a large array
of talent that excused him for not going into the transfer market as at the moment we are currently losing the clubs most coveted round
of 16 trophy and putting such dissapointing performances in the league.
I
think that all children benefit from being exposed to a wide variety
of experiences and people and that isn't
always possible at those places with the colourful decor, play equipment and horrible
food.
We've
always done
food based, but now I need to
think «OK, I need a dark green vegetable or a red / orange vegetable or whatever» instead
of thinking about what taste or texture or color or such would compliment the other menu items.
In any case I
always think of BLW being about a healthy relationship with
