Anybody sick sugar daddy's football is in sad place Man City reminds me Fifa game is gone to da dogs sad thing is arsenal try run things right way but truth is we're a bit behind
for long time now and seems it will stay that way we need big name signing with Sanchez or with
out I like xhaka very good footballer I like ozil silk player Sanchez is class but he is a winger and gives away ball a lot that's why he works a lot cause
always looses ball new left bk is great player u
watch he's a tank he's like ivanovic but a lot faster but we need replace santi hamsik anyone
In other news, our team seems to be rounding nicely into form, with a productive off - season and several new additions already settling in, there seems to be a renewed sense of confidence in the air... our well - oiled machine has conducted business again early this year, so we can just sit back, kick our feet up and
watch all those other suckers scramble to make panic moves in the 11th hour... of course, we need to tie up a few loose ends but our team of savvy negotiators, under the tutelage of our faithful leader, will perform their usual magic with ample time to spare... I have to laugh when I look around the soccer world and see all those teams look upon us with envy and scorn as they struggle to mimic our seemingly infallible business model... thank goodness the powers that be had the foresight and fortitude to resist the temptations of the modern football era... instead of listening to all the experts and simply taking the easy way
out by making the necessary improvements on the field and in the front office, we chose the path never traveled... we are truly pioneers in our field... sometimes you just have to have faith in the people that have
always conducted themselves in a respectful and honest fashion... most fans aren't so fortunate, they will never know what it's like to follow a team that treats everyone in and around the club as if they were an extended member of the family... all
for one I say... so when you wake up this morning, please try not to gloat when you see rival fans pacing back and forth waiting
for their respective teams to pull the usual panic buys, just say nothing and be thankful that it isn't you... like I've
always said, this is why you stay the course... this is when the real benefits of having someone in charge
for over 2 decades really pays off... have a great day fellow Gunners
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer
for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play
out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly
out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs
out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone
for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as
for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I
watched played
for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've
always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it
always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger
always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as
for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played
out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad
for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
@Muda, I accept your formation but i would rather we use Coquelin at RB instead of Bellerin, the hype about Bellerin is becoming too much.Atleast
for the few games I've
watched him play he seems to be very inexperienced and
always cut
out of position, so i would prefer Coquelin as he has
always done a good job each time he plays at RB.

always, mesmerizes the classiest of defenders.
I wonder how arsene prepares our team
for them to produce such lacklustre performances. Its very perplexing
for us to lose or draw against poor teams like chelski and looserpool.I was
always a wenger
out due to I being a frustrated fan. When our players are on the pitch they show no desire and no hunger at all. They produce such mediocre performances in front of fans whove paid so much to
watch these games. It makes you womder why on earth they have such heavy salaries only to put on a flabbougasting show in front of 55000 fans. Its very ironical that we here on this site shower praise on such performances.players like ozil recieve such unwarranted praise you might think they are from another planet. Then we have an extremely overrated english core of gibbs ox and walcott Sorry to say this but players like draxler and rodrigiez are twice these players. This is food
for thought
for you who support the team blindly due to wengers compulsion that makes you believe that we are playing the worlds finest brand of football and have a large array of talent that excused him
for not going into the transfer market as at the moment we are currently losing the clubs most coveted round of 16 trophy and putting such dissapointing performances in the league.

Why can't people
for God sake understand the angle the young man was coming from, this is a guy who has come
out to suggest what he feel will be of great glory to the team, futbol is about winning trophy not the samba, champaign, tick taka or jambody style Of playwill be accredited to ur cv after retirement, every professional player will wants to be identify with a medal, mind you he have limited years to his career, therefore we should not allow sentment or affections we have
for our various teams erode the basic objective of the game.we should also think about their future too, this guys are proffessionals which young lads are looking up to and questions will be ask tomorrow about theirs playing days.can people tell me why pele and some other famous players in the world both present and past are been celebrated today the answer is simply cos they are successful in their career and have trophy to show
for it in their respective clubs or countries, why the complain in nigeria?its simply cos our team
for quite a while now has not recorded any troph to her glory, fans should learn how to call a spade a spade in order to balance situation and also
for better performance of the team.why then did arsene wenger hurridly went to buy more experienced players after the poor
outing he had at the beggining of last season?this players know beta cos they are at the centre of it all, we don't have to trash what they say, we fans are only
watching from screen, in as much as we beliv in arsen wenger, we should also know that without the boys no arsen wenger, fans should try to reason along with the players too.an hypotetical cases of similar to rvp has been tested by some players and have put them right over the coach and the team.so, whatelse does the fans needs to prove that futbol has gone beyond living in the past.
for example, fabrigas and nasri were able to prove their critics wrong.thank God
for them, we should
always be objective in our submission, how else do we expect players to show their commitment to a team that was in 8 on the log table and later fought their way back to 3rd this boys are commendable and deserve to be encouraged, I think is high time the manager and the mgt board of arsenal futbol team get to know that game of futbol has gone beyond two teams domination, its now like a pendilum which can swing either way only with a powerful insrument called money.you can't eat ur cake and have.
It will be interesting to see how things pan
out for Sterling once players like Sturridge and Gerrard return as well as any signings likely to be made in the January transfer window but
for now as long as he is in the team, Sterling looks settled and assured and can only improve with age so a run of games is
always likely to result in consistent performances which is what he, Liverpool and the current England manager, Roy Hodgson, who was
watching in the stands at White Hart Lane, will be hoping
for.
As I mentionned above that ive just
watched all the Arsenal game 2007 and 2008, Ive personnaly gave up with this idea of strngthenin our defence. Its obvious, we need CDM, and I strongly recommend Toure
for that job, but finally, I found
out our main PBM: AW is a man who beleives in: THE BEST DEFENCE IS ATTACKIN.He has built the team that way. When I
watched our 2007 games, i could see that most of these teams who has defeated us this season played exactly the same style of game last season but they couldnt perform so much as our attackin side were so strong
for them so that they were
always held at their own defensive side. The game is completely Psycological. At the 1st 10mn of the game, they try to attack @their best, but just when we start attackin then all their mdlfldr start to pull back coz most of our attack are all dangerous. And this is what makes the diffrence between the so called BIG 4 and the rest of the league. The Pbm isnt really that our defence is so weak, It is our attack which is WEAK.Durin the first half of this season, Our guys couldnt perform any attackin strategy planned by AW, coz 1st: they were new to it, coz they have only practiced it durin trainin session.2 nd: Some of the key players are gone.3 rd: Even AW did nt know where exactly is the best position
for those new players, the likes of Nasri, Vela, and some of them were all subsitute last year.Plus they are all young players who can improve and change their style game after game.
