While it's awesome that digital effects can reduce the headache of shooting certain scenes, it's nice to know that even with a film at the scale of Rogue One they're still grinding out
some amazing creature effects.

creatures that live in, on, and around us have a huge
effect on how we feel, how we think, and how our entire body functions.
After the outside lot, we returned inside, to displays of all the
amazing creatures and special
effects from the movies, various scale models of different sets, and then, one of the parts I had been most excited about — we walked up Diagon Alley!
The only thing that saved this movie were the

effects, be they practical or elaborate CGI, and they could give us new versions of beloved archetypes, but after The Force Awakens re-hashed Episode IV and Rogue One couldn't stop winking at what came before, it felt like maybe Star Wars had gone as far as it could, and we would spend the rest of forever treading over the same ground.
