My sentiments quickly changed
when I discovered that
games like The Walking Dead, The Broken Sword series and many other high profile titles were available on the platform without any compromises from the transfer to the handheld medium; however, the true wealth of gaming brilliance was to be discovered in some of the genre - breaking indie
games nestled
amongst the more well known titles.
They are arguably
amongst the most masterful
games developers of all time, and
when they turn their hand to something new its virtually a given that it'll be packed with bright, characterful visuals, and a playful approach to a genre that belies deep and unexpected gameplay experiences.
As for visual novels, they were a hard sell way back
when, but as they become more accepted
amongst gamers (hopefully) more will see the light of day.
