A significant
amount of honey does contain spores of the bacteria that causes the toxin, botulism.

I didn't measure the
amount of honey precisely, just eyeball it according to the
amount of apples you're using.
I also reduced the
amount of sweetener since
honey is naturally sweeter than sugar, therefore I didn't need as much.
I
did sub coconut oil for butter, coconut oil is so easy to sub 1:1 and has so many good bits for you Also, I had no maple syrup on hand so just used the same
amount in
honey although next time will use maple as I love the flavour
of maple in muffins and cakes.
Agave — you can substitute an equal
amount of cane sugar or
honey if you don't have agave.

doing 1/2
of the sugar

honey, since
honey is more sweet.

of carob being so low in fat.
If you don't have maple syrup you can try subbing it for half the

honey — it won't taste the same but it'll still be a really good cookie!
A few alterations I
did that worked: I swapped 1 for 1
honey instead
of maple syrup in the condensed coconut milk and I didn't have almond flour so I just put the same
amount of whole raw almonds in the food processor and it ground it up just fine.
I
did add a tiny
amount of drinking coconut milk to make them more moist — it was a really dry mix without the
honey.
Unfortunately I don't have the liquid sweetener you used but would I be able to substitute a small
amount of honey for it?
I halved the recipe because I didn't have enough almond butter, used half the
amount of maple syrup in place
of the
honey, and added blueberries after the batter was mixed.

The
amount of sugar in
honey is a little different than that in maple, so they don't have the same sweetness proportional to the volume.
They are super yummy, but a bit too sweet for me (but that may be because I didn't decrease the
amount of sugar since I didn't use
honey).
Just
do it by taste, Different sweeteners have different
amounts of sugar / sweetness in the same volume, so you would likely need a different volume
of honey

of PB and a full jar
of honey due to the
amount of cereal rice I used, I've basically got twice as much as I should have.
While wild bees don't get the same
amount of attention as
honey bees or bumblebees, they are a critical piece

amount of flour a bit, just to be safe.
If it's hard to
do all at once then slowly reduce the
amount of fruit and
honey you consume.

Adding in generous
amounts of simple syrup (or raw
honey if you don't
do sugar) to milk may enhance one's ability to withstand dairy.
You can also add a small
amount of honey if you don't have blood sugar issues, but I find they are sweet enough with the fruit alone.
So I never have small
amounts of applesauce around and I didn't want to open a whole jar just for 2 TBS worth, so I just put in some apple chunks (with the skin, about 1/4 small apple) with the avocado and
honey (I actually used coconut sap) in the food processor and liquified the apple in with the liquid ingredients.
