cup, it's good to have a coffee scoop.

cup (the total
amount you need) is hard to
measure, which is why I broke it down that way.
From what I understand, regular Splenda
measures cup for
cup like sugar, so I would probably suggest using double the
amount of Splenda as is listed.
To ensure you're using the right
amount of flour, we recommend either
measuring by weight using a scale, or fluffing and sprinkling the flour gently into your
measuring cup one spoonful at a time before leveling off with a knife.
Weigh your flour — if 3 people
measured a
cup of flour each one would hold a different
amount.
I like using a ladle for this step because it insures that I get an equal
amount of stock going into the pan each time, but if you don't have a ladle you can use a 1
cup measuring cup.
Depending on the total
amount of flour you use (which will always vary if you're
measuring with
cups) you may have to add a tad bit more milk during the mixing.
I used the
measured amounts to fill the
cups and had enough batter left over for 3 more muffins without filling and the 12 original ones rose well over the edge
of the
cups.
Also, if a flour is simply scooped by a
cup it gets packed towards the
cup floor and the
amount is different again instead
of being an exact
measure as it should.
Another thing that I love about baking with the Stevia In The Raw ® Bakers Bag is that it actually
measures cup for
cup with sugar giving you the same
amount of sweetness without all those extra calories!
This happens often with flour, because if you dip your
measuring cup straight into your bag
of flour, pack down the
amount you need, and put it directly into your recipe, you'll have too much flour.
Using a 1/4
cup measure, I scooped a flat
amount of batter, then placed it onto a parchment - lined baking sheet, slightly shaped / flattened the batter, and baked for approximately 20 minutes, at the same or slightly less heat (25 * cooler oven) as the muffin recipe, with 8 per cookie sheet.
The only thing I did differently from the recipe was to use an entire jar
of peanut butter, because the
amount called for would have left a little (and also so I wouldn't have to wash peanut butter out
of my
measuring cup) and to beat the whipping cream to soft peaks and then add the peanut butter / sugar mixture to the whipping cream and beat until combined and light and fluffy.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. I put the
amount of coconut oil or butter needed in a glass
measuring cup and throw it in the oven while it preheats — keep checking it and once it is melted use most for the recipe and use a little to grease your muffin tin or inserts.

measured in volume, for example, can vary as much as five ounces — an
amount that can mean the difference between buttery and flaky — and dense and cakey.

Wasn't sure about the shredded carrot
amount because I didn't know if it meant loosely - packed or compressed, so I compressed the carrots a bit, but not so hard that they were difficult to pop out
of the

If your recipe calls for «X
cups sifted flour,» that means that you should sift a bunch
of flour, then
measure out the
amount called for.
If you ask the staff nicely they'll even lend you some
measuring cups so that you can
measure out the precise
amount you need
of each ingredient:
Dissolve some Bicarbonate
of soda in water —
measure out a set
amount e.g 20 ml Pour into the first
cup.
Consult the chart found with the instructions to determine the
amount of water you'll need to add to the
measuring cup.
Don't forget to
measure the
amount of liquid that the
cup has.
Fill the
measuring cup with the appropriate
amount of water depending upon the size bottle you are heating.
If you struggle to reach this
amount,
measure how many ounces are in your favorite water bottle or
cup and take note
of how many times you should be refilling it each day.
Almond flour has a high fat content, so while it
measures close to
cup - for -
cup with wheat flour, you will need to reduce the
amount of fat in a recipe when you are subbing almond flour.
If using dry, cook them first and then
measure out the appropriate
amount of cooked chickpeas (2
cups = approx. 1 can)
The fourth issue for public comment was whether the
amounts to be eaten should be expressed in household
measures, such as
cups and ounces, or whether it should continue to be expressed in terms
of number
of servings per day.
I pour the required
amount of brown butter into a
measuring cup when I'm ready to make each component
