With FIDO operational, Guy worked

of fuel cells, research
on German aviation fuel as inferred from the spectrographic
analysis of aircraft exhaust, not to mention the design and testing
of fuel baffles, experimental forest - clearing devices, and fuel propellant systems (including flamethrowers — an application the pacifically - minded Guy must have disliked.)
