The issue as to whether we can have an intelligible account of «being» is indeed vigorously discussed in philosophy today, and we can not treat with indifference the serious questions raised by modern
analytic philosophy about the meaning of statements about being.

analytic philosophy of religion» all of these are, in the end, proposed explanations of observed phenomena.
