These women also
reported on their coronary health, indicating whether they had an angiogram that confirmed CHD - related chest pain, a heart attack, or cardiovascular procedures such as
angioplasty, coronary artery bypass graft surgery or stents.
But these drugs do not appear to help patients who haven't had a heart attack or have heart failure, even if they did need
angioplasty — surgery to clear a blocked artery that caused chest pain, Parikh and his colleagues
report.
