The angular size of an astronomical object is its apparent size in the sky from our perspective.
The relationship between
the angular size of the smallest details that can be distinguished (θ), the wavelength (λ) and the diameter (D) is given by: θ ≈ λ / D.
This phenomenon increases the apparent brightness and
angular size of the lensed objects, making it easier to study sources that would be otherwise too faint to probe.
In this case, the measurement was roughly equal to
the angular size of a baseball on the Moon.

In astronomical terms, its
angular size is about 50 milliarcseconds, or about half the
size of a single pixel in the best images from the Hubble telescope.
Bosons are permitted various amounts

angular momentum
of an ordinary -
sized rotating object.
Another result that we don't really understand is that we don't see any temperature fluctuations in the microwave background on scales larger than 60 degrees [the
angular size in the sky
of the fluctuations].

of the cosmos from their
angular size on the sky.
This list is every galaxy with an
angular size greater than 1.8 arcminutes within 7.5 degrees
of the centre
of the cluster which at a distance
of 52 million light years corresponds to every galaxy with a diameter greater than 30 thousand light years within 7 million light years from the centre.
The list

of the Drake equation; discovery
of flat galactic rotation curves; first pulsar discovered in a supernova remnant; first organic polyatomic molecule detected in interstellar space; black hole detected at the center
of the Milky Way; determination

angular resolution image

of only known millisecond pulsar in a stellar triple system; discovery
of pebble -
sized proto - planets in Orion, and the first detection
of a chiral molecule in space.
The new technique is similar to that used by land surveyors on earth, who measure both the physical and
angular — or «apparent» —
size of a distant object, to calculate its distance from Earth.
Giving the advantage
of its high -
angular resolving power (~ 7mas), TMT will be able to resolve a dozen large Trans - Neptunian objects and ~ 50 - 100 Trojan asteroids, providing a good estimate
of their
size.

size of a grape lying on the surface
of the moon.
Note that this effect
of size on the perceived contrast can not be explained by the finite resolution
of the visual system, because we used disks with
angular diameter much larger than that
of the Airy disk, and the effect was exactly the same for disks
of the two different diameters we used.
The new simulations performed by Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) and University
of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC) researchers show that a single impact by a Mars -
sized object in the late stages
of Earth's formation could account for an iron - depleted Moon and the masses and
angular momentum
of the Earth - Moon system.
Knowing the type

Concerning atmospheric
angular momentum, it's overall
size tells that it can not vary enough to explain variability in LOD beyond about 1 ms. Actual calculations
of AAM confirm its role.
The density will continue to increase without limit, as the gravitational force increases due to the inverse square law
of gravity, and the rotation will speed up, to conserve the
angular momentum
of the initial state, as the
size decreases, so the moment
of inertia continues to decline, and
angular velocity increases to keep I. omega ^ 2 constant.

size, the Galaxy A7 is a little more
angular in its shape as well, with less rounded corners, but there is definitely an element
of familiarity to it.
