We rely on our members to help us provide warm
shelter, veterinary
services and personal attention to all the
animals in our care, in addition to offering proactive programs to the community that helps
control the pet population.
There are many examples of how a non-profit
animal shelter with a contract to provide
animal control services (which is what the San Francisco SPCA was before the split) can still work wonders.
To that end, in addition to
sheltered animals, we provide
animal control services in rural Walla Walla County, including cruelty and neglect investigations to ensure that
animals have homes with responsible, committed caregivers.
