animal placement partner, taking in and adopting out more pets in need from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter than any other partner.
The comforters not only ease the stress of our homeless animals, they also help to ease the transition when the animals are transferred, because they take their comforters with them to
our animal placement partner organizations.

Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) is pleased to announce that the
animals rescued from a Mississippi breeding operation on July 15th have started moving out of the ARC emergency shelter to ARC's
placement partners around the U.S., the next step in their journey to a new life.
Reactive programs are those that work to save the
animals once they have reached the shelters, and include adoption programs, foster homes, working with
placement partners, and programs like Feral Freedom, which may be the single most effective program for saving the lives of community cats entering our shelters, who would typically die without this type of intervention.
We work closely with
placement partners, breed specific rescues and other groups in Wichita, throughout Kansas, and across the country to find positive outcomes for
animals needing alternative
placements.
We are proud to
partner with more than 70 local and regional Paw
Partners to find more positive
placements for the
animals entering our shelter through no fault of their own.
In these situations we provide emergency care and
partner with several local
animal shelters who assume responsibility for rehabilitation and permanent
placement of the
animals.

Lebanon, TN — Today dogs rescued in two different cruelty cases in Tennessee last week will begin to leave the
Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) temporary shelter in Lebanon where they have been receiving care for the last week and will be on their way to approved
placement partners in Tennessee, Kentucky, Maryland, Florida, Chicago, and Wisconsin.

Our objective is to create a «rescue corridor» up the East Coast and fast track

placement for nearly 20 dogs and cats to relieve ARC's over-burdened
