Today I really wanted to celebrate Sweet and Strong's one year
anniversary and share some
of my accomplishments since

Graffuturism 5 Year
Anniversary Exhibition marks in many ways the consolidation
of a journey that
started in 2010 when Graffuturism decided to create a
blog in order to showcase the work
of Graffiti / Urban Artists who were underrepresented.
If I hadn't turned down what would have been my third associate position and decamped to Jack's office, if Jack hadn't suggested I meet with Nicholas Clekis regarding office space, if Nick hadn't offered me assistance in
starting a solo practice, if I hadn't accumulated mentors such as Jack, Nick, Susan Dunn, Sally King - Gilreath, and Conrad Falkiewicz, I likely wouldn't be in a position to write a
blog about the 23rd
anniversary of my (successful) solo practice.
This isn't the
anniversary of the
blog, but the
anniversary of the day I took a leap
of faith to
start my business by the same name.
